One Negative Update

At the beginning of June, a lime tree planted a year ago was knocked down and saved. About 10 days later, a second lime tree met the same fate. Supports or not - for cattle, they are just sticks. Last year, the lime trees withstood the grazing of the herd without any problems, but this year was not as successful. The association’s efforts, including the financial resources spent on planting young trees at the Řetouň I cross as replacements for the old ones, were thus wasted. In the future, measures will need to be taken in agreement with the owner of the herd to prevent a similar case from happening again, such as a sturdy enclosure.
