Blessing of the Cross Proboštov VI

The First Restored Small Sacred Monument

It took over two years from idea to realization, but it was worth it! On October 22, 2022, in the afternoon, a blessing ceremony for the cross was held by Dean Karel Havelka from the Roman Catholic Parish of Proboštov, attended by around 30 people. The "Proboštov VI" cross thus became the first small sacred monument restored by our association. More details can be found in the Renovation section.

A "Miracle" Happened

It had been lightly raining all morning, but half an hour before the ceremony, the rain stopped. At the exact moment of the blessing, rays of sunlight illuminated the attendees. It was a moment everyone will remember for a lifetime. After lighting candles at the cross, a small reception was held, where guests enjoyed pastries, strudel, and hot tea.
