The chronicle of Němčí is stored in the Ústí nad Labem City Archives. The first entry is dated 1781. Based on the interest of the inhabitants of Němčí, its translation was commissioned to an expert from the National Heritage Institute ÚOP Ústí nad Labem, Mgr. Jan Leibl. In April 2022, a fundraising campaign was launched to secure the necessary amount of 20,000 CZK.

The amount for the translation was raised around the same time the translator completed his work in August 2022. In cooperation with the graphic studio Imagine Media from Ústí nad Labem, the pages of the original chronicle stored in the Ústí nad Labem City Archives were photographed on 25 August 2022. Subsequently, additional funds were raised through donations so that the graphic studio could prepare the final version of the work for printing. The publication features the German text on the right page and the Czech translation on the left for comparison. A pictorial appendix is included at the end. It is a professional-level work – see the sample.

The municipality of Malečov then contributed 28,235 CZK as a donation to cover the printing costs. Before Christmas 2022, donors were able to collect the completed chronicles at the Municipal Office. Donors of amounts up to and including 1,000 CZK received the Czech translation (without the German original) in a ring binder, while others received the German text in a book binding.
