The location of this monument, which has not survived to this day, has not yet been determined. None of the survivors (e.g. Christine Kessler, who was removed from Čeřeniště together with her parents at the age of 6; still alive in 2025) or the oldest Czech inhabitants know about the war memorial and its location. Therefore, it is not marked on the map of war memorials. There is a mention of the monument in a newspaper article (see below) published on 14 May 1920 in the Leitmeritzer Zeitung, and also in the Memorial Book of the Parish of Proboštov (1677) 1690 - 1933, where it is written that on 9 July 1922 a mass was celebrated at the war memorial in Čeřeniště for the fallen fighters in World War I.
