pIn this part of the project, there are documents that concern the entire Malečov region or have a broader scope.
Departure of Sudeten Germans from the political district of Litoměřice 1945–1946
The topic of the expulsion of Sudeten Germans from Litoměřice in 1945 and 1946 is covered in Hynek Oberhel's bachelor thesis, which he completed in 2008 at the end of his studies at Masaryk University in Brno. At the end of the thesis, all German transports are listed with the number of people for each municipality. During the years in question, seven villages from the present ten parts/municipalities of Malečovsko were included in the Litoměřice district: Babiny I, Čeřeniště, Horní Zálezly, Pohoří, Proboštov, Rýdeč, and Řetouň.
An overview of the buildings demolished during demolition works in July 1967
The part of Malečovsko adjacent to the Elbe River was a military area during the socialist era, where the movement of the population was restricted. Many houses left behind by the displaced Germans fell into disrepair and became useful backdrops for military exercises. Many of these ruins were then completely leveled, as described in the following document from the Kutná Hora military unit from July 1967.
